Here is another Easy Frugal Recipe that I have recently made from my coupons deals I’ve gotten from my Wegmans coupons and deal list!

Ingredients:

Birds Eye Recipe Ready Primavera Vegetables mix – $1.99 (use 1 bag)
$0.75/1 Birds Eye Recipe Ready, Any – 11-03-13 SS (exp 02/01/14)
$1.50/1 Birds Eye Recipe Ready – 1-12-14 SS (exp 03/09/14)
= $0.49 per bag

One can of Green Beans (Wegmans Store Brand) = $.49  (I actually paid just $0.18 for my green beans back from this deal at Dollar General)

One Cup of Milk

One can of Campbell’s Condensed Cream of Asparagus Soup – $1.89
$0.40/2 Campbell’s Condensed Soups; Excludes Chicken Noodle, Tomato, or Cream of Mushroom – 2-9-14 SS (Expires 04/06/14) 2-9-14 SS  (this is regional – you may have gotten a $1/5)
= as low as $1.49 wyb 2 after doubled coupon

French’s Friend Onions, 2.8 oz – $2.29
$0.50/1 French’s French Fried Onions – 2-9-14 SS(Expires 04/15/14)
$1.00/1 French’s French Fried Onions – 2-9-14 SS(Expires 04/15/14)
= $1.29

Total = $3.76

I realize even if you just used 2 cans of green beans, and didn’t substitute in the Bird’s Eye Recipe Ready mix, the price would be the same.  But this tastes way better when you have more fun veggies like carrots, peas and asparagus in it!

Preparation:

1.  Stir the soup, milk, beans, frozen veggie mix and 2/3 cup onions in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.

2.  Bake at 350°F. for 25 – 35 minutes or until the bean mixture is hot and bubbling. Because you are using frozen veggies, cooking time may be a bit longer than traditional green bean casserole.

3.  Sprinkle with the remaining onions and bake for 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown.
