Creamy Chia Seed Fruit Salad Dressing Recipe

Creamy Chia Seed Fruit Salad Dressing Recipe

This recipe for Creamy Chia Seed Fruit Salad Dressing is one that came from my mom. Growing up whenever we had a fresh fruit in the summer time, my mom always dressed it with this creamy and sweet dressing.

She would use poppy seeds instead of Chia Seeds, but since I had Chia Seeds on hand, I decided to try it with those instead. You may think that sour cream and fruit don’t go together, but after you try it, you’ll realize that it tastes like cheesecake mixed with fresh fruit. ūüôā

Fruit Salad Dressing ingredients

Ingredients needed to make your Creamy Chia Seed Fruit Salad Dressing Recipe:

  • Fresh fruit cut into bite size pieces (I used strawberries, cantaloupe, and grapes)
  • 1 8 oz container of light sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of Chia Seeds

I personally prefer to use light sour cream for this recipe, although regular sour cream will work just as well.

3.  Then add 3 tablespoons of honey.  You can add a bit more honey if you like your dressing sweeter Рgive it a taste and add as much honey as your palate desires.  I personally think 3 tablespoons is just perfect.
