Exciting News….

Guess what I did this morning?
If you guess coupon shop…you guessed right.

BUT, I shopped with Channel 13’s Patrice Walsh! She contacted me earlier this week, after finding my blog, telling me she is doing a series on couponing. She said she wanted to know if I could show her some tips and tricks for saving money.  Of course I said YES!

She followed me around Wegmans today and I told her about some deals where you can stack Wegmans coupons with manufacture coupons.  I also showed her tips like using coupons that do not exclude trial size, so can get those for pennies or free.  I also told her to not steer clear of Nature’s Market because it seems too expensive – many items in my cart today came from that part of the store.

My total before coupons today was $94.16, and I paid $36.23!!  I used coupons from deals I listed here.

After our Wegmans shopping was done, she came to my house and I showed her what I got at Rite Aid this week too.

This story will be aired on Channel 13 next week on April 28th during the 5pm news.
