Here is another EASY recipe that I’ve added to my Easy & Frugal Recipe repertoire! I’m going to show you how I made 4 ingredient Nutella Brownies! This one is for chocolate and Nutella lovers! This can easily turn into your new favorite brownie recipe! Not only is it easy with just 4 ingredients, it makes chocolatey brownies that will easily curb that chocolate craving. These go especially well with a glass of milk, coffee or tea. Since I’m a huge Nutella fan, I absolutely LOVE these gooey brownies and I think you will too!
My mom was the one who told me about this Nutella Brownie recipe. The recipe she heard about had 3 ingredients. They make chewy brownies that could also be described as fudgy brownies.
I tried experimenting with the recipe and came up with a bonus ingredient that makes these easy Nutella brownies just perfect! I decided to make the original three-ingredient Nutella brownie with chocolate chips to make them even better. When I was at the store to pick up my chocolate chips, I saw that they had cherry-flavored chocolate chips and grabbed those. What a fun bonus flavor to add to the chocolate flavor of these homemade brownies!
Simple Ingredients to make Brownie Batter for Nutella Brownies:
2 1/2 cups chocolate hazelnut spread, such as Nutella
1 heaping cup all-purpose flour
3 large eggs
3/4 cup of Toll House DelightFulls – I chose the Cherry flavored kind
Instructions on how to make Fudgy Nutella Brownies:
- Grease a 9X13 big pan with olive oil cooking spray. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large mixing bowl, crack and stir 3 large eggs.
- Add in 1 heaping cup of all-purpose flour and 2 & 1/2 cups of Nutella. Stir these three ingredients together until you get a smooth batter for these chocolate hazelnut brownies.
4. Fold in 3/4 cup of cherry-flavored chocolate chips. (you of course can use non-flavored chips if you prefer.)
5. Bake at 350 degrees until the surface looks set and slightly crisp or you see a crackly top, with a bake time of about 25 – 30 minutes. Let cool slightly. Best if served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. 🙂
OPTIONAL: This is a simple recipe that is also great to serve during the holiday season or Valentine’s day! One additional thing you could add is to sprinkle the top of the batter with chopped hazelnuts or instant espresso or a sprinkle of sea salt before baking to add some additional flavor.

You had me at Nutella. Brownies are superb in the first place but you add nutella and it’s like they become a completely different force to be reckoned with! Thanks for linking up with Delicious Dishes Recipe Party!

This recipe is amazing. The only problem is I can’t stop eating Nutella from the jar and will have to make myself leave enough for the recipe!
