Synopsis: When a young woman, Simone Burner (singer/songwriter, Brandy Allison), is accused of murdering the man who assaulted her, she seeks out the helps of attorney Jack Evans (Erik Estrada, TV’s CHiPs) to prove her innocence. A ruthless and corrupt prosecutor engages her in a trial that brings the past she’s longed to escape to the forefront of her defense. “Virtuous” will inspire and ignite you to live the principles of Proverbs 31 –faith, integrity, wisdom and honor.
This movie has many plots it in that are all disjointed in the beginning, but then you’ll see how they all meld together in a really cool ending. The whole time I was like, “wait, who is that and what does that have to do with so and so?” But it all makes sense at the very end and when I was done watching, I was amazed that God orchestrates this world the same way – just on a way bigger scale! Incredible!
I liked this movie because it wasn’t a “happy clappy, a little bit cheesy” kind of faith based movie that I’ve seen plenty of. This one dealt with some tough subjects that the Church as a whole needs to face. No one is perfect. But we can perfect our grace and love to those who need it.
