It’s easy to make DIY Tile Coasters and you’ll love how they add a pop of color or decor to your living room or any room you need coasters.
They’re also practical (good-bye water marks!) and a great way to add stability to something like a cushy ottoman.
DIY Tile Coasters also make excellent inexpensive homemade gifts!! I made these four tiles for about $4!

Did you paint the sides of the coasters? The ones I have from Lowe’s have ink printed on the sides?
No I didn’t paint the sides – the tiles I got were all solid off white.

How do you seal the coaster so you can put a hot drink on it? I am having trouble with that step. If I seal it with an acrylic sealer, it still melts if I put a hot cup on it. Thank you, Nancy
If the acrylic you are using is still melting, then I’d try a resin.
