I know I’ve briefly posting that I had to have surgery a little over a week ago.
I’ve somewhat kept up with my blog…but for sure have not been working and deal posting as much since the day of my surgery on Jan. 29th.
Today (well many days in the last week) have been filled with Dr. appts that are just so not fun, that I just have to laugh to because it is all so icky and rough.
I’m don’t have a cancer diagnosis, or anything serious, so I’m trying to keep a sense of humor about it all. But boy, I didn’t plan on having to do some of the things I’ve had to do in the last week!
I’m not going to give you all the details because this isn’t a “humiliating things that can happen to you at a Dr.’s appt blog.” And while I’m a pretty open book in person, really you would thank me for not sharing online. 🙂
I’m hoping that as the week progresses and my recovery continue, I’ll be back to my normal self and normal blogging in no time.
Thanks everyone for hanging in there with me, and for your thoughts and prayers!

Hey Maura,
So sorry this has been such an ordeal. The doctors apparently did not warn you!! I can only imagine the stories. Some stories are tough to embrace, aren’t they? Take your time… nature is a slow mover and we live in a fast world. Think about it. You can’t force a tree to grow overnight! So kick back and feel the love of your friends and family. And we will keep on sending you thoughts and prayers for speedier recovery! 🙂 PS.. and we won’t ask to see your boo boo! LOL

LOL Margie – you crack me up! Thanks for the encouragement!
