Here is another Easy Frugal Recipe that I have recently made.  It is a 6 ingredient, dump into the crock pot, super-duper, easy-peasy recipe that tastes great!!!  Here is how to make the EASIEST Vegetarian Chili Recipe on the Planet!

INGREDIENTS:

Birds Eye Protein Southwest Frozen Vegetables Blend mix 

1 green pepper  – chopped

1 onion – chopped (I purchased pre-chopped pepper and onion combo at Wegmans to make this even easier.)

1 can of Red Enchilada Sauce 

1 15 oz can of diced tomatoes – get a chili flavored variety

1 15 oz can of Bush’s Chili Kidney Beans

Beef Style Meatless Crumbles

**You can add beef or leave this meatless for all of you that squirm at the thought of using a fake-meat soy product.  🙂

Two Cups of Water

PREPARATION:

Dump all of the ingredients into your slow cooker.  Stir and cook for 6 hours on low.  This makes about 8 servings.  Optional – Serve garnished with corn chips, sour cream, and a dash of fresh or dried cilantro.
