A new Family Friendly TV Show: Signed, Sealed, Delivered
The new original series “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” is a wonderful combination of romance, comedy and drama that follows the lives of four postal detectives who transform themselves into a team of detectives to track down intended recipients of undeliverable mail.
Their missions take them out of the office where redirected letters and packages can save lives, solve crimes, reunite old loves and change futures by arriving late but somehow always on time.
The team includes charming Oliver O’Toole (Eric Mabius), the group’s leader is a man of faith who prayerfully approaches his work with the goal of making a difference in people’s lives; new team member, Shane McInerney (Kristin Booth), a technophile who brings 21st century sensibility to the group; free-spirited, “girl next door” Rita Haywith (Crystal Lowe) who has a photographic memory; and lovable Norman Dorman (Geoff Gustafson), a master in conventional research methods.
The show aires SUNDAYS, 8/7c on Hallmark
I was able to watch a sneak preview of this Sunday’s episode of Signed Sealed Delivered. This episode is about a special couple with adult disabilites, including Down Syndrome, who discover the Scriptural meaning of marriage through the challenges of their journey, which inspires their parents.
YES, I said SCRIPTURAL content in this show! Finally, another show that I can watch with my 4 year old and not be worried about its content. This is a show that uplifts you, promotes good morals, and leaves you feeling happy. Boy I wish there was more of this kind of TV still on as an option! Keep up the good work Hallmark – keep series like these ones coming!
I currently don’t pay for cable. It’s too expensive to pay for mostly trash. So instead, my husband and I stream specific shows on their websites or just hope it shows up on Netflix. I sure do wish though I could just pay for a Hallmark channel monthly fee! So thankful that shows like this are still in the making – there is hope for American TV! 🙂
Another cool bonus about this series is that The American Bible Society has built a bible study to go with it!
Sign up for that here!! It will be available for 7 days after each episode is aired. Let’s all sign up and show that there is an audience that appreciates Christian media!
