Here is a free 8″ x 10″ printable that says “Laughter Is Good Medicine.” That has always been one of my favorite verses and gives me permission to take my “medicine” and laugh, even though there are seasons in our life when we just want to cry.
This season for many is one in which we all just want to cry.
I find that during this season I’ve been on the lookout for inspirational quotes or inspirational Bible quotes that help keep my mind grounded and stress-free. I just get sadder every time I read the news and as a nation we are weary.
Another thing that helps my mood, is to get creative and make small changes to my home decor. The perfect combination of both of those was to create some printable wall art made up of inspirational quotes for women that are from the Bible.
So I went to work and have spent some time this past couple of weeks making some 8 x 10″ printable wall art that is based on Bible verses.
These can be displayed on an end table, on the wall in a bathroom, become bedroom wall art, or just frame it and give it as a gift to someone who really needs encouragement.
One I want to share with you today is “Laughter Is Good Medicine.” If you would like this printable for free, you can get it, print, and frame it today! All you have to do is fill out the form below and the printable PDF file will be sent to your inbox.
Once you get your “Laughter Is Good Medicine” printable in your inbox, go ahead and print it out on an 8.5″ x 11″ sheet of paper.
Where in the Bible does it say laughter is good medicine?
“They say laughter is the best medicine [Proverbs 17:22], and I know we all could use some extra encouragement these days!
In order to get it to fit into an 8″ x 10″ frame (the one I used is over here, – and even though it says dark gray in the description, it’s more of a dark blue.) you will need to trim the edges of the print to fit into the 8″ x 10″ frame.
I held up the generic 8″ x 10″ paper that came with the frame to the print in the light and centered it so I knew where to trim. If you see above, a little bit of the scripty letters may get cut off, but that’s OK since I don’t think you lose anything if a quarter of an inch of a line is trimmed off.
Then trace the 8″ x 10″ sheet of paper so you know where you should make your cuts.
Once you trim, then you can go ahead and add it to your frame! I got my frame from Amazon here. I will let you know know that the stain is more of a dark blue rather than a dark gray.
