Introducing Handmade at Amazon (They Even Accepted Little Ole’ Me to Sell!)

Who has checked out Amazon’s newest selling platform: Handmade at Amazon??

Recently I’ve heard some grumbling and complaining about how Etsy decided to let non-handmade items be sold on that site (like cheap stuff from China that is marked up and not made in America.)

I personally love Etsy, and have a relatively new shop on Etsy (called Magnet Menagerie), but I understand those that are not 100% happy that the original “handmade only” theme of Etsy is slowly drifting away.

Amazon probably picked up on that, and decided to give Etsy a brand new competitor that is selling only 100% handmade items!  This just opened TODAY!!!!

If you click over there, be warned that it is filled with so many cool items, that you may get easily distracted by all of the awesomeness you can get.  Start bookmarking items, or even grab them now for Christmas gifts!

Or make a new Pinterest board of Handmade at Amazon and pin all of your wish list items!!!  There truly is some amazing talent (at very reasonable prices for the quality) that you will find.

I feel pretty humbled with my crafts that are listed, compared to some really, really talented artists work!

Since this is the first day, I’m sure it will take a bit for the word to spread about Amazon’s new fun twist on the cyber shopping experience.  So I’m just doing my part to help spread the word a bit with this post.  I’d love to hear what awesome products you have found and/or purchased from Handmade at Amazon!!
