It’s been a few years now (I won’t share how many because then I’ll just feel old) since I used to stand in line on a late August day, at my college book store, getting ready to fork over at least $500 for a semester’s full of books.
Boy have times changed when it comes to options for college students and getting much better deals on textbooks!
Has anyone tried Campusbookrentals.com before?
A few perks they offer are:
-save 40-90% off of bookstore prices
-free shipping both ways
-can highlight in the textbooks
-flexible renting periods
-they donate to Operation Smile with each textbook rented. (Operation Smile is an organization where doctors fix facial deformities such as cleft lip and cleft palate in children across the world.)
Watch this short video clip to see how Campus Book Rentals works.
They have recently implemented a new program, called RentBack.
RentBack is new initiative that allows students to rent the textbooks they own – to other students. That means you could earn 2-4x more money compared to what you’d make through buyback options at your local book store at the end of the semester!
Has anyone tried a textbook rental service like this before? I’d love to hear feedback and experience with this company, or with others like it! Share your stories in the comments below and it will help us all out!
