When is the last time you had a spa day at home? It’s probably been while, huh?? Mother’s and women in general, are so busy taking care of others most of the time, that we often neglect our own needs. Some of us will get so burned out and exhausted that we usually have to get the flu before we will take a break. (Maybe I’m just speaking for myself, but I know I’m not alone.)
If you are a stay-at-home mom and your family is living on one income, chances are you aren’t going to splurge on yourself for a day at the spa. Again, maybe I’m just speaking for myself, but I know for sure there are a whole lot more moms who want a spa day and don’t take the time or have the money to get one!
So here are some ideas to have a spa day at home that will be cheaper than spending $100’s at a spa. These are natural products that you will be able to use long term – not just one day. I recommend inviting over some girlfriends to make and use these together. Make extra for gifts (that will take away the guilt factor of taking some time for yourself!)
Some of these are guest posts I have written over at LivingWellMom.com. Her blog is filled with awesome recipes and DIY’s to live a more natural lifestyle.
For your spa day, I need to also recommend having a set of these Norwex makeup removal cloths!
Remove makeup, eyeliner and even mascara without soap or cleansers. Just moisten one of these soft, suede cloths with warm water and gently wipe face upward and outward. You clean with just water and this cloth – no extra chemicals or washes needed on your face!
If you are looking for the best and most relaxing shoulder and neck tension relief, then I highly recommend trying this Norwex Timeless Relaxation Rescue Gel! It is so soothing and just melts away tension in my neck and shoulders.
I wear it nightly and sometimes during the day when I’m typing at the computer.
I have recently fallen in LOVE with Norwex products and am not sure how I kept my house clean before having them! Check out how you can actually clean up raw chicken juice with just a Norwex cloth and water!
What about you? What do you do at home to pamper yourself??
