Chicken Lo Mein Recipe



1 chicken breast (½ pound)

8 oz of spaghetti

½ white onion, diced

½ pound of asparagus 

2 garlic cloves, minced

¼ c of soy sauce

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tbsp honey

2 tbsp hoisin sauce

3 cups of chicken broth

Add ins:

Broccoli slaw

Sweet peppers

Green onions

Purple cabbage


  1. Chop the chicken breast into small cubes.  Add the chicken and diced white onion into the pan.  
  2.  Then add, pasta, asparagus, minced garlic, onion powder, honey, hoisin sauce, soy sauce and chicken broth to a large pan.
  3. Stir it all together and cover.  Cook on medium high heat until the liquid comes to a boil.
  4. Stir again and reduce heat to low/medium and allow to simmer until the liquid is mostly evaporated.
  5. This will take about 12-15 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat, add in any vegetables like pepper slices, cabbage or broccoli slaw.
  7. Garnish with green onions if desired and then serve immediately. 


Allow leftovers to cool then store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
