Ingredients needed to make your modified easy green bean casserole recipe:
- Frozen Mixed Vegetables – carrots, cauliflower, and broccoli
- 2 Cans of green beans or 1 bag of 12 oz. bag of frozen green beans
- One Cup of Milk
- One can of Campbell’s Condensed Cream of Asparagus Soup or Cream of Celery Soup (or you can still stick with the classic cream of mushroom soup.)
- French’s Fried Onions, 2.8 oz
How Do You Make Modified Easy Green Bean Casserole?
1. Stir the condensed soup with a cup of milk until its smooth.
2. Then stir in the frozen green beans, frozen veggie mix and 2/3 cup onions in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
3. Bake at 350°F. for 30 – 35 minutes or until the bean mixture is hot and bubbling. Because you are using frozen veggies, cooking time may be a bit longer than traditional green bean casserole that calls for just canned green beans.
4. Sprinkle the top with the remaining onions and bake for 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown.
