I don’t know about you, but the jingle of this next product I’m giving away, easily gets stuck in my head after I see a commercial for it.  Advertising at its best, right?

I know Wuggle Pets have been around for a little while now, and I have been curious about the whole process of “bringing to life” your Wuggle Pet.  Well now I know!  If you order a starter kit from Wugglepets.com, you will get all of the items pictured above:

The process of creating your Wuggle Pet is pretty simple.  You add the fluffy stuffing to the “fun filled factory” and hold the exoskeleton of the Wuggle Pet onto the nozzle, and turn the handle until the fluffly stuffing fills up the Wuggle Pet.  You can add some “magic dust” into the fluffy stuffing if you wish.  Then you can insert the character traits that you want your Wuggle to have, zip him/her up, and it’s done!

My 2 year old daugher had fun turning the handle, and then letting them “tickle her” when we were done making them.  We kind of talked about the meaning of the personality traits that each Wuggle could have.  She of course wanted her Wuggle to have all of the traits, like smart, sassy, shy, excited, etc. She was confused though because the personality charms weren’t stickers, and she kept trying to get the back off and stick them on something.  They do look like stickers, so I can’t say that I blame her.  :)

She loved the finished products and had to have her new Wuggle Pets nap with her.  I’m sure they will hold the #2 spot (#1 is her blankie of course) of favorite toys for a few days.  But then like most toys, the initial fun will wear off until the next “new” toy takes the forefront.

Now that we have made them, I’m not sure what to do with the “fun filled factory.”  You can of course buy a refill kit from Amazon for $6.50, so you can continue to grow the collection of Wuggle Pets.  That way you will keep your fun filled factory working.  Otherwise, it will just collect dust (like it probably will now at my house.)  I wish the company had a recycling incentive and they could sell kits with “previously used” factories.  Otherwise, it seems like a big waste.
