Young Living Essential Oil Sample Pack Giveaway!

For the past few months (if you’ve been reading here that long) you’ll remember a few of my reviews and giveaways being about Young Living Essential Oils.  I was introduced to these products by my hairdresser a little while ago and have been intrigued to learn more about them. I listened to the “Missing Link” informational CD that explains why these natural products have healing properties and have purchased a few oils to try for myself.  Now that I’m done highlighted each of the oils from the The Everyday Oils Kit, I thought I’d switch it up a bit and giveaway a sample pack of different oils/products that you may be interested to learn about.

Here is what I chose to highlight:

Peace & Calming Oil:

A gentle, fragrant blend specially designed for diffusing. It promotes relaxation and a deep sense of peace, helping to calm tensions and uplift spirits. When massaged on the bottom of the feet, it can be a wonderful prelude to a peaceful night’s rest. Peace & Calming may be especially calming and comforting to young children after an overactive and stressful day. Used as a perfume, it can subtley and helpful influence an entire environment.

How to Use

Diffuse in bedrooms, living areas, and office. Apply to bottom of feet, wrists, and outside of ears. Blend with V-6 Mixing Oil or Massage Oil Base for a calming massage. [15 ml. bottle.]

Ingredients

Tangerine (Citrus nobilis), orange (Citrus sinensis), ylang ylang (Cananga odorata), patchouly (Pogostemon cablin), and blue tansy (Tanacetum annuum).

Joy Oil:

An exotic, luxurious blend of ylang ylang (Cananga odorata), bergamot (Citrus bergamia), mandarin (Citrus reticulata), rose (Rosa damascena), and other oils that produces an uplifting magnetic energy and brings joy to the heart. When worn as a cologne or perfume, Joy exudes an alluring and irresistible fragrance that inspires romance and togetherness. When diffused, it can be refreshing and uplifting.

How to Use

Diffuse, use as a cologne or perfume, apply over the heart, add to bath water, or enjoy as a body massage blended with V-6 Mixing Oil or Massage Oil Base.

Ingredients

Lemon (Citrus limon), mandarin (Citrus reticulata), bergamot (Citrus bergamia), ylang ylang (Cananga odorata), rose (Rosa damascena), rosewood (Aniba rosaeodora), geranium (Pelargonium graveolens), palmarosa (Cymbopogon martinii), Roman chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile), and jasmine (Jasminum officinale).

Lemon Oil Spray: This is lemon oil diluted in water.

Lemon (Citrus limon) has antiseptic-like properties and contains compounds that have been studied for their effects on immune function. It may serve as an insect repellent and may be beneficial for the skin.

How to Use

Diffuse or add a few drops to a spray bottle to deodorize and sterilize the air. Use for removing gum, oil, or grease spots. CAUTION: Citrus oils should NOT be applied to skin that will be exposed to direct sunlight or ultraviolet light within 72 hours.

Ingredients

Essential oil of Lemon (Citrus limon).

Eucalyptus Radiata Nose Inhaler:

One of the most versatile of the eucalyptus oils, is suitable for topical use, diffusing, and even direct inhalation. Relatively gentle and nonirritating, it has long been an ingredient in some of our most popular blends. This antiseptic oil has been studied for its support of the immune system.

How to Use

I put it in an inhaler for you – if you have a stuffy nose, breath this in for instant relief!

Ingredients

Essential oil of Eucalyptus Radiata.

Thieves Losenges:

Defend and protect with Thieves, a highly effective combination of clove, cinnamon bark, rosemary, lemon, and Eucalyptus radiata essential oils.  You living’s proprietary essential oil blend is based on a legend of thieves in fourteenth century France who used clove, rosemary, and other aromatics to protect themselves while robbing plague victims.

Unlike may products that rely heavily on harsh chemicals, these natural plant solutions are powerful yet safe enough to be used daily.  Proved 99.9% effective against airborne bacteria, Young Living’s Thieves has inspired an entire line of solutions for home and body, including oral care, hand care, and household products.

Thieves Hard Lozenges deliver the cleansing power of Thieves essential oil blend with the seet flavor of peppermint, lemon and other natural sugars for long-lasting relief.

If you are fighting off a cold, help the fight by dissolving 1 lozenge in your mouth as needed.

**I will also add a copy of “The Missing Link” CD that contains an explanation by the Young Living founder, why these oils have such amazing health benefits.
